About the Calvin S font
Calvin S is a FIGlet conversion of Calvin Small Caps, a TheDraw font Shmuel Ross made in 1994. Uppercase letters use double lines (╦ ╠ ╩) and lowercase letters use single lines (┌ ┐ └ ┘), so the cases stay distinct even at this small size.
It is three lines tall, and “HELLO” takes only 15 columns, the shortest of the 12. It has no digits and lacks some symbols (: ; ( ) + = / and others), so use it for names and words in English letters. The author encouraged sharing, but the scope of commercial use has not been confirmed.
Works well for
Minimal logos, short names in English letters, and narrow screens.
