About the Slant font
Glenn Chappell made Slant in 1993 from Standard. Vertical strokes become slashes, so the whole word leans to the right. It is the same five lines tall, but the slant makes it slightly wider than Standard.
The motion in its shape makes it popular for CLI tool logos, game server announcements, and team names. Keep it left-aligned when pasting so the slant stays even.
Works well for
CLI tool logos, sporty or game-style titles, and Discord server welcome messages.
