About the Script font
Glenn Chappell made Script in 1993. Capitals sweep in large curves and lowercase letters seem to join their neighbors, so a word looks like a handwritten signature.
It is five rows tall, and “HELLO” takes 31 columns, close to Standard. Its lowercase is especially pretty, so it works best with only the first letter capitalized, as in “Hello” or “Thank you”.
Works well for
Soft phrases such as thank-you notes and invitations, blog signatures, and names.
