About the Doom font
Frans P. de Vries made Doom in 1996 from Big, sharpening the letter endings to resemble the logo of a popular game of the time. It is six lines tall, and the bottoms of its strokes bend like \_, which looks sharper than Big.
It fits tournament announcements, Discord server names, and game-related project logos. The author’s header only permits modification as long as the modifier’s name is added in a comment, so the scope of commercial use has not been confirmed.
Works well for
Game server and Discord announcements, and game-related project logos.
