How to use aesthetic decorations
These are less pictures than small frames for your text. Put your name where the ♡ is in ‘୨ ♡ ୧’, or write a short phrase inside ‘「 ✦ 」’. They suit places that show a single line, such as an Instagram bio, the first line of a caption, or a status message.
Characters such as ୨ ୧ ⟡ ⌇ are borrowed from other scripts and from math symbols, so older devices and some fonts may show them as boxes (□). If many people will see it, choose decorations made of widely supported symbols such as ♡ ✦ ★ ˚. You can also restyle your name in script or bold letters with the fancy text tool.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use these in a username?
They are all one line, so usually yes. Each service limits which characters and how many it accepts, so some symbols may not save. The nickname page lists characters that work well on popular services.
Why do some decorations show up as boxes?
The recipient’s font does not include those characters. Switch to a decoration made of common symbols such as ♡ ✦ ★.
How do I put my own text inside?
After pasting, delete the symbol in the middle and type your text. Leave the decorations on each side as they are.
