Christmas ASCII art Holiday XMAS text art
15 Christmas pieces and greetings for holiday cards, group chats, and blog posts.
Previewed in JetBrains Mono. Copying text does not include the font settings.
In Notepad, choose a monospaced font such as Consolas and turn off word wrap. Save a PNG to keep the preview’s appearance.
How to use it
- Pick a category (animals, hearts, birthday, games, kaomoji, Halloween, Christmas) to find a piece. Each category has its own page with every piece.
- Click a card to copy the text. Use Save PNG to keep the exact shape.
- On Discord or GitHub, paste it inside a ``` code block so the lines stay aligned.
Holiday greetings with text art
Holiday greetings tend to look alike because so many get sent. Add a tree or a snowman at the top of your message and finish with a one-line greeting such as ★彡 Merry Christmas 彡★, and the same words feel far more personal.
The tree and the snowflake use keyboard characters only, so they display well in Notepad and email too. When the shape matters, as on a card, save a PNG and send the image; on Discord, wrap the art in a ``` code block.
Frequently asked questions
How do I use these on a Christmas card?
Save a piece as a PNG and place it on your card, or copy the text into a document, switch to a monospaced font such as Consolas, and print it.
The tree leans when I send it in a chat.
Chat apps use proportional fonts, so multi-line art can shift. Use a one-line greeting or save a PNG and send the image.
Can I use them for New Year greetings too?
The holiday greetings work from Christmas through New Year. For a New Year message, make the year or “HAPPY NEW YEAR” into a big banner with the text banner tool and send it along.
